At 22, he has already lived in 4 different countries. Yannick is currently studying Computer Science in Bangor University, Wales. His adventurous nature has led him to take part in various volunteering projects around the world, working with horses, teaching English, among others. He has been a cast member in the BBC 2 documentary ‘The 1900s Island’, where he got the chance to experience life in a 1900’s fishing village.
Fuelled by his curiosity, Yannick began planning for and constructing a ‘pyramid-house’ in order to learn and apply engineering and architectural concepts.
His personal experiences living in Uganda have strongly aligned him with the 2nd SDG, ‘Zero Hunger’. He seeks to develop technological solutions to water-availability problems.
