This 24-year-old Mexican woman is a Chemical Engineering graduate with a deep passion for sustainability. She co-founded a student group that develops renewable energy projects with rural communities and is a collaborator on an animal welfare project where animals used in experimental research are rehabilitated and rehomed. Likewise, she volunteered for an NGO dedicated to conservation and local community empowerment through sustainable tourism in coastal areas.
Olga did her professional internship in a Sustainable Bioplastics company developing a new product and is currently working as a process consultant in a firm. She believes the 2030 Agenda is key towards developing more just societies and achieving economic models that align with the Earth’s available resources.
